Shopping on Maui
Just like anywhere, there are dozens of places to shop. You are on vacation, take some time to wander and find that one treasure you don't want to leave paradise without. It's not always just about the memories, sometimes you want something tangible to remind yourself of the vacation you want to do again!
Front Street
Whether you looking for kitschy Hawaiian gifts, or fine jewelry, Front Street has it all. If you start at one end (either by Outlets or by the Banyan Tree), you could definitely spend the day wandering in and out of shops. There are a variety of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and ice cream, gelato, fudge, and coffee shops for snacks in between. Free parking can be a challenge, so be prepared to parallel park! There are several pay lots on side streets as well. If shopping isn`t for you, Front Street also has areas steeped in history, so if you`re a buff, look into the walking history tour. |

Lahaina Cannery Mall
Though not big, the Lahaina Cannery Mall has enough variety to make it worth a browse, especially if you need to stop by Safeway anyway. The mall also has the typical food court if you`re hungry. As the name suggests, the Cannery Mall was built on what was the site of the Baldwin Packers pineapple cannery and was designed to mimic an actual pineapple cannery. |

The Outlets of Maui
Maui`s first outlet mall and we are so excited it`s here! The Outlets hosts the typical outlet shops and if you`re hungry there are several restaurants within a short walk. The Outlets are located at the North end of Front Street, so it`s a great spot to begin or end your shopping journey. There is plenty of parking and first two hours are free with store validation. |

Whalers Village
If you want shopping with a view, this is the place! There are some fantastic shops located within Whalers Village as well as The Whaler`s Village Museum. The Village has a small kids play area, quick eats and also sit-down restaurants. You can step right onto Ka`anapali beach from the shopping center or meander down the boardwalk, so it really is a pretty great area to spend the day (and some money). |
